A choreographed reception show with costume changes and a packed dance floor
This is where we earn the packed dance floor. Our vocalists perform choreographed dance sets, change costumes through the night and take the show out onto the floor with your guests.
Expect crowd call-and-response, sax solos, dance floor medleys and a high-energy live performance from the first set to the last song, with DJ music between sets so the party never stops.
Every detail is rehearsed, from the lighting cues to the last-song frenzy built around the two of you. It is a full wedding reception show, not background music

Live wedding band for the whole day, from ceremony to last dance
Hiring a live wedding band should not mean juggling three vendors. Uptown Drive covers your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception: ceremony sound with a lapel mic for your officiant, a DJ set for cocktail hour, dinner music and live dance sets for the reception.
Greg emcees the whole night, from your grand entrance and toasts to the cake cutting and last dance, and we build the timeline and emcee script with you and your planner ahead of time. DJ music plays during every break, so the dance floor never goes quiet.

It starts with your date, city and venue. Send them through our contact page and we confirm availability and put together a personalized proposal. Every quote is custom to your date, city, band size and how much of the day we cover.
Once you book, your planning worksheet captures your favorite styles, must-play songs, special dances and do-not-play list. We learn the first dance and parent dance songs that mean the most to your family, and Greg works the timeline with your planner so every moment lands on cue.
